Academic Discourse

Live Webinar

As an academic myself, I’m familiar with interpreting academic discourse, and my client roster contains both academic institutions and associations of academic researchers.

This video features a talk given by Kevin Levin to the Gallaudet University community about the history of Confederate monuments in the American South. Mr. Levin’s talk had a timely application to a university-wide discussion of how or whether to preserve vestiges of historical memory on Gallaudet’s campus.

ASL Translations

Post-Production ASL Translation

“Anniversary in the Schools” is an annual educational program produced by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum that educates school-aged children on the impact and legacy of the 9/11 attacks.

This American Sign Language translation was produced from the program’s script. Extra time was devoted to the translation to ensure accuracy for a diverse audience of deaf students.

Full-Service Accessible Recordings

Post-Production ASL Interpretation, Open Captioning, and Video Editing

For the Autism CARES conference I created linguistically-accessible presentation videos. The source videos were recorded by the featured projects and submitted for production.

Production time for projects like these varies by volume, but can most often be accomplished within 3 to 7 days.
